QC/QA Team
GVB has built a robust QC/QA team including senior QC/QA personnel with decades of experience at leading global pharmaceutical companies. Although GMP compliance is currently not required by the FDA for hemp processors, GVB has proactively put in place the structural and documentational elements required for full GMP compliance and has received NSF registration for dietary supplement manufacturing.

OSHA Compliance
GVB has adhered to the strict work place health and safety guidelines set by OSHA since inception, and has been inspected by OSHA on multiple occasions. Additionally GVB and its operating facilities are in full compliance with the NFPA 70 in its entirety.

GVB Oregon has earned NSF International’s Good Manufacturing Practice Registration for dietary supplements. NSF International is a leading certification agency that verifies a manufacturing facility has the proper methods, equipment, facilities, and controls in place to produce dietary supplement products in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s regulations on dietary supplements.

Food Grade Certification
GVB was one of the first hemp processors in Oregon to receive food grade certification from the Oregon Department of Agriculture which acts with the full authority of the USDA in Oregon. GVB strictly adheres to food grade manufacturing practices ensuring all products are produced in a manner consistent with food products.

Fire & Life Safety Compliance
GVB has worked closely with our state fire marshals to ensure full compliance with all applicable fire safety regulations. GVB has been inspected by the fire marshals office on multiple occasions. Additionally, GVB has had a hazmat team inspect the building to ensure that it is free from chemical vapors which could present risk of fire. To ensure safety, GVB has installed a code excess Fire & Life Safety Monitoring System which continuously monitors all control areas for LEL excursions.
